You can share your live location from Activities or directly from a chat.

There are two ways to start sharing Live Location:

Option A: From Activities (general creation)

  1. Go to Activities.
  2. Tap +.
  3. Select Live Location.
  4. Choose the chat or person to share with.
  5. Select the duration:
    • 15 minutes
    • 1 hour
    • 3 hours
    • 8 hours

Option B: From a chat (direct share)

  1. Open the chat where you want to share your location.
  2. Tap the + icon.
  3. In the menu that appears, select Location.
  4. Choose Live Location (not current location).
  5. Select the duration.
Important considerations:
  • Sharing ends automatically when the chosen time expires.
  • Each participant can choose a different duration.
  • Requires location permissions to be enabled.
