Public chats allow you to start conversations with people who are not yet in your contacts.

How to view another person's public profile

You can view public profiles in two ways:

Option 1: From People

  1. Go to Home → People.
  2. Search for or select a person.
  3. Tap their profile to open it.

Option 2: From public posts

  1. In Gallery of This Place or any public section.
  2. Find a post that interests you.
  3. Tap the name of the person who posted it.
  4. Their public profile will open.
How to start a public chat from a profile

Once you are viewing a public profile:

  1. Tap the Message button.
  2. A new chat opens automatically.
  3. The profile name in the chat will appear in purple.

Visual identifier: Public chats always show the name in purple to distinguish them from private ones.
