Chats are the primary way to communicate on Weebu. You can chat in private mode (with your contacts) or in public mode (with any Weebu user).
Filters help you organize your conversations and quickly find what you're looking for.
Visual indicator: When there are new messages in a chat, a red circle appears over it on the home screen.
Chat classification and filteringOn the chat home screen, you can organize your conversations in different ways using the available filters:
| Filter | What it shows | Ideal use |
|---|---|---|
| Relevant | All private chats + public chats that YOU initiated | Main view, active conversations |
| Unread | Only chats with unread messages | Quickly check pending items |
| Public Profile | All public chats (those opened for you + those you opened) | Manage public connections |
| Archived | Chats you have archived (hidden from main view) | Visual cleanup, maintain order and privacy |
- On the main chat screen, look for the filter selector.
- Tap the filter you want to apply.
- The list will update automatically.
Quick switch: You can toggle between filters at any time.
