You can control who can start conversations with you from your public profile.

To prevent public chats from being opened:

  1. Go to Profile → three dots ⋮ → Settings.
  2. Select Privacy.
  3. Look for "Allow chats from public profile".
  4. Tap Nobody.
  5. Confirm.

Result:

  • No one will be able to open chats with you from your public profile
  • Your public profile remains visible, but without the "Message" option
