You can block any user to prevent them from contacting you again.

Case 1: Chat WITHOUT a response

If someone opens a chat with you and you have NOT replied:

  1. In the chat, you will see a clearly visible "Block" button.
  2. Tap it directly.
  3. Confirm the action.

You don't need to go to the user's profile.

Case 2: Chat WITH a response (you have already talked)

If you have already interacted with the person:

  1. Open the chat.
  2. Tap the purple name at the top.
  3. Tap the settings icon.
  4. Select Block User.
  5. Confirm.

Effects of blocking:

  • The user will no longer be able to send you messages
  • They will disappear from your chat list
  • They will not be able to see your public profile in People
